Clinical Supervision
The Avenue Psychotherapy Service provides clinical supervision for mental health professionals and psychotherapists who require guidance or direction in relation to their clinical work and caseload.
Supervision is offered from a psychodynamic perspective. It supports practitioners in developing their clinical understanding and enhancing their existing professional skills.
The supervisory setting provides an opportunity to:
- Explore clinical material in depth
- Reflect on therapeutic process and difficulties
- Enhance effectiveness in work with clients
- Address workplace and organisational issues
- Use existing knowledge and experience creatively within professional roles
