The Avenue Psychotherapy Service, formerly based at 127 City Road, London EC1V, is an established psychotherapy practice providing professional services to individuals experiencing emotional distress, psychological difficulty, or challenges that impact their independence and day-to-day living.
The service works with a broad international English-speaking client base supporting individuals from a wide range of personal, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
The Avenue Psychotherapy Service provides the following professional services:
- Individual Psychotherapy
- Couple Psychotherapy
- Clinical Supervision for Mental Health Professionals and Psychotherapy Practitioners

The service works with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, identity-related distress, and long-standing emotional or behavioural patterns that interfere with everyday functioning and wellbeing.
Alongside general clinical work, the practice has extensive experience supporting individuals from the creative and performing arts sectors, including those working in music, film, television, photography, and related industries, where issues of identity, performance pressure, public exposure, and creative demand may be particularly significant.
The service also works with individuals presenting with neurodevelopmental and complex psychological profiles, including autistic spectrum conditions (ASD), attention and learning-related difficulties, borderline personality disorder (BPD), epilepsy, and other neurological or cognitive conditions where psychological support is needed.
The service also works with individuals experiencing enduring emotional regulation difficulties, personality-related issues, and other complex mental health presentations where psychological support is advised.
